China Unicom, one of the largest mobile operators in China, has upgraded its networks in an all-round way, according to the related report.

　　China Unicom had finished the third phase of CDMA network construction, and the network has covered all cities, counties (except few counties in Tibet), expressways, arterial roads, large scenic spots, offshore sea waters, developed villages and towns and rural areas all across the country.

　　Meanwhile, the company also constructs GSM network at full speed, and there has been no blind area in urban and rural areas of big cities basically at present, such as Beijing, Shanghai, etc.

　　In addition, China Unicom recently has started a new business based on its united network platform. Subscribers can enjoy all kinds of services easily only through a special optical line, including video conference, video telephone, broadband Internet, data transmission, VPN, 193 long-distance calls, IP telephones, etc.
